About Mrs Yi Zhen Jia
Mrs Yi Zhen Jia is an experienced professional acupuncturist and herbal medicine practitioner. Mrs Yi Zhen studied at the GanSu College
of Traditional Chinese Medicine. After graduating as a bachelor of science in 1984, Yi Zhen undertook further study and gained her master's degree. On coming to the UK in 1990, Yi Zhen began work with the British College of Acupuncture as a lecturer and clinical supervisor. She has taught a wide range of medical professionals, from general practitioners and nurses to physiotherapists and even veterinarians, the fundamentals and practice of traditional Chinese medicine. Mrs Yi Zhen still works part-time as a lecturer with the University of Westminster teaching students the traditional methods of acupuncture and herbal medicine. The Evening Standard Magazine selected her name as one of London’s Top 100 holistic specialists. (April 1992). She also has an entry in “Debrett’s People of Today”.
